    What are the age requirements for flight training?

    The minimum age to solo in an aircraft is 16 years of age, with a minimum age to obtain a Private Pilot Certificate being 17 years of age. How ever students can start training as young as 14 years old.

    What type of medical examination do I have to have for flight training?

    You will need to obtain a third-class medical certificate from an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner before your first solo flight and for the checkride. An Aviation Medical Examiner is a physician authorized by the FAA to perform pilot medical exams and issue FAA medical certificates.     Are there other requirements to become a pilot?

    In general to obtain a pilots certification you will need student pilot certificate, government ID, medical certificate, proof of citizen ship or TSA endorsement, and a willingness to learn.
